The Urban League of Greater Philadelphia invites community members to take the first step toward homeownership by registering for our upcoming First-Time Homebuyers Seminar. This educational session is designed to provide prospective homeowners with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the homebuying process with confidence.
Participants will learn about the fundamentals of purchasing a home, including understanding credit, preparing financially, navigating the mortgage process, and identifying available resources that can help reduce the cost of homeownership. The seminar also provides an opportunity to connect with housing professionals who can guide participants through each stage of the journey, from financial preparation to closing on a home.
Homeownership remains one of the most powerful pathways to building generational wealth and long-term financial stability. Through programs like this seminar, the Urban League of Greater Philadelphia’s Housing and Diversion Services Department works to ensure that individuals and families have access to the information and resources necessary to achieve sustainable homeownership.
