We support Greater Philadelphia through community based programming in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Reentry, Education, Housing, Workforce Development, Health & Wellbeing and Community and Economic Empowerment. We host two Annual Events to help support our organization and highlight key partnerships and sponsorships that make it possible for us to do the work!

Our Annual Whitney M. Young Empowerment Luncheon honors corporate and community partners who advance equity alongside ULGP and features meaningful discussions that move policy and practice forward across housing, reentry, education, workforce, health, and entrepreneurship. Signature awards: Corporate Empowerment Award, Community Leader Empowerment Award, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award.
A black‑tie celebration that showcases ULGP’s year of impact.
The Gala highlights and announces Community Scholarship recipients and acknowledges the partners and donors who make our work possible. Expect premium branding moments, VIP hospitality, and memorable storytelling. Signature awards: Legends & Legacy Award and Community Legacy Award.
