Workforce Engagement Manager
The Workforce Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing workforce development initiatives by managing programs, fostering strategic partnerships, and supporting participant success. Reporting to the Director of Workforce Development, this role oversees the design and delivery of workforce programs, manages Career Center operations, and creates meaningful career opportunities for participants. The Workforce Engagement Manager ensures data-driven decision-making to improve program outcomes and aligns workforce initiatives with community and industry needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Coordination

Design, implement, and improve workforce development programs aligned with organizational goals and participant needs.

Manage day-to-day program operations to address workforce trends and community demands.

Collaborate with internal teams to achieve measurable outcomes and meet performance metrics.

Employer Partnership Management

Build and maintain relationships with employers across industries to create job and training opportunities.

Serve as the primary contact for employer partners, aligning their needs with program offerings.

Support employers in designing initiatives like training programs, internships, and hiring events.

Career Center Management

Oversee the daily operations of the Career Center, providing resources for career exploration and job readiness.

Develop programming to enhance participant career success and workforce engagement.

Career Coaching and Professional Development

Facilitate workshops on topics such as resume writing, interviewing, and workplace readiness.

Oversee career coaching services, guiding participants on career planning and job search strategies. \

Event Coordination and Community Engagement

Plan and execute events, including job fairs, networking sessions, and industry panels.

Manage logistics to ensure successful events that meet participant and employer needs.

Data Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant outcomes, and employer partnerships.

Generate reports to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with community leaders, educational institutions, and organizations to advance workforce development goals.

Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to build partnerships and promote programming.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of experience in workforce development, program management, or a related field.

Proven ability to build and sustain employer partnerships and community relationships.

Experience in event planning, including workshops, job fairs, and community engagement activities.

Proficiency in data management and reporting.

Familiarity with recruiting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking Systems).

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on program schedules and community needs.
