At the 2022 Empowerment Dinner, ULP was proud to award over $141,000 to 58 students.
Education is the bedrock of economic and social success, and the one true road to empowerment. By offering scholarships to deserving high school seniors, the ULP fulfills the organization’s ultimate goal of creating self-sufficient members of the community.

Community scholars attend a wide variety of Colleges and Universities, and in 2019 we began to award scholars attending Trade Schools because we know that the professional landscape is ever-changing. Our scholarships are donated by our board members stakeholders, corporate partners, individuals, and members of our affinity groups—everyday people, just like you.
