Your tax-deductable donation to The Urban League of Philadelphia supports both our advocacy on behalf of the African American community and the direct programs that help low-income urban residents attain economic self-sufficiency
Workers laid off from their jobs. Homeowners on the verge of foreclosure. Where can they go for help? The Urban League of Philadelphia.
Unlike other agencies, we do not charge job hunters to use our Career Center, spend the day working in our computer lab or attend our Job Club.
One homeowner who found our housing counselors through an Internet search commented, “You were the only ones who would help me without a fee. If I could afford to pay for help, I wouldn’t be in foreclosure.”
We are only able to provide these services to people looking to get back on their feet because of the generous donations of our sponsors and supporters. Every donation, large or small, has a major impact on our clients.
You can also support The Urban League of Philadelphia by targeting your annual United Way contribution to us by entering our number, 122, on your donation form.
