First-Time Homebuyers' Workshop

Learn about housing selection  and what mortgage lenders look for to approve loans. We will talk about different types of financing and explain the entire process from making an offer to settlement. The workshop  covers learning  to read the credit report, budgeting and managing your money.

We also provide information on ways to avoid becoming the victim of predatory lending practices.

Attending these workshops can qualify you for down payment assistance as well as other first time homebuyer assistance programs.

Career Center Orientation

Orientation gives job seekers an overview of the ULP Career Center and its services. Attending orientation is required to participate in all other Career Center programs. Orientation provides valuable information on conducting a job search.

What to bring:

• A hard copy of your resume
• A flash drive
• Two forms of identification (driver's license and Social Security Card)
